Our History

Since our founding in 2002, Hulbert Engineering and Land Surveying has consistently provided outstanding professional services in both residential and commercial projects.

We have performed Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering including Clerk of the Works, Project Management, Constructability Reviews, Construction Administration, Land Surveying and Mapping for the Binghamton City School District’s thirteen schools and buildings since 2002. Since 2011, we have performed Civil Design Services, Land Surveying, and Project Management for the Johnson City Central School District. We also performed Construction Clerk of the Works services and Land Surveying for the Chenango Valley Central School District’s 2015 Capital Project, 2018 Capital Project, and continue to do so for their 2020 Capital Project. In 2023 we began providing Civil Design Services for Vestal Central School District.

We have provided the Broome County Department of Public Works (DPW) withBuilding Code and Inspection Services under a Term Contract since 2007, and hold that contract through 2024.

We have also provided the Broome County Department of Public Works (DPW) with Land Surveying Services through a separate Term Contract since 2002, this contract was renewed in 2022 through 2025. In 2022 Hulbert was awarded the Land Surveying Services contract for The City of Binghamton for one year with the option to renew for two additional years.
